Title: Danae - Gold

Description: 

A Klimt inspiration, the Danae series is after the 1907 piece named the same. My Danaes are curled into themselves, unconcerned with the viewer, finding pleasure or peace just being in their bodies, gorgeous and glowing and sensual. I wanted to do several large versions and maybe will yet. Perimenopause is a lot about body, endless internal and external messaging about our bodies. The external needs to shut up, and the internal whispers are sacred and to be respected.
