Title: 'Holding Space'
This print is of commissioned painting for an amazing woman who fought hard for her birth options and had a beautiful triumphant waterbirth in hospital. She asked me to help celebrate and represent her birth as she envisioned it, as her photos were poor. This was the first waterbirth in this hospital, and one of the first for ALL of Ontario! What a wonderful example of what individuals can accomplish when we advocate for change. (not to mention she had a view of the water/skyline!) Holding space for her are her midwives and doula.
This is a beautiful, high quality reproduction. This birth art makes a stunning gift for a midwife, doctor's office, hospital practice, baby shower, or doula thank you. This print is 13x19 inches. All images are different sizes as they are in proportion to the original painting. The reproductions are printed on acid-free archival quality watercolour paper, and laid on acid free foamcore, protected in a clear bag.
Please do not hang in direct sunlight. With professional framing, this reproduction will last a very long time. In a store-bought frame, you will enjoy it for many, many years!
